i'm a dreamer and interested in dreams, both the awake dreams and the asleep dreams.

this is one of the first groups on mix i found interesting, but it looked abandoned. nice to see new people here!

The dreams that I tend to have are usually related to my every day life and if I can remember when awake I draw what I can still visually see.
Other dreams relate to people in my life that are accurate but I'm not always comfortable in passing on the information because I do not want to depend on my dreams to live my life.
A friend of mine has dreams that are so far fetched but cool adventures of flying or fighting in battles plus intimate encounters that I will not elaborate.

dreams i think are directly connected to our waking life, and i think sometimes the place where the spirits, our ancestors, communicate with us. once i was part of a co-op cafe which i put all of my heart and soul into - i dedicated my life to it, literally, and sacrificed many possible opportunities, having closer ties with my family, and basically all of my free time to help make it happen. in doing so i was able to give other people opportunities and help them become part-owners and members of the co-op, sharing in the admiration and recognition we were beginning to receive from the community. eventually, certain egos couldn't tolerate having to share a spotlight with me and seeing me get respect and attention from (mostly) the beautiful, cool, and talented female activists, artists, and organizers that had come to know me over the years (although some knew me before). Resentment turned to distrust and disdain, and they looked for the first chance they could to stab me in the back and get rid of me (force me to leave the collective) (yes this is leading up to a dream). beyond anyone else, there was one guy who was particularly deeply involved who was also instrumental in building up the business and organizing the co-op really had the chance at that point to back me up, but he opted to go along for the ride. ever since then, i have felt like i could never forgive what they had done because i had thought that we were all like family, and i was so down for the place for life that anyone who knew me and the work i did there could plainly see that the things these guys, (my best friends(/)) were accusing me of weren't true, or were at the very best, malisciously manipulated variations of half-truths). Two nights ago i dreamed i was in downtown los angeles, in a restaurant cafe where there was a relaxed, bustling, atmosphere, and everything and everyone there seemed familiar. slowly it dawned on me that i was at a new variation of the place we had originally started, just located downtown. Something was giving me a strange feeling while all of this was going on, hanging out, working in the kitchen, helping customers, i was working side by side with the one guy who so many years ago was my main partner and one of my closest friends, who had welcomed me into his family but passed up the chance to back me up when the chips were down (way down) providing world world customer service for the people as a team as if nothing had ever happened this feeling kept reminding me, prodding me about something about the whole situation but i couldn't put my finger on what it was. wjen i woke up and thought about the dream i realized what i had been feeling. i had forgiven him, and this was the feeling of forgiveness. maybe i have finally forgiven him maybe everybody, and this dream was just the dreamstate manifestation of that physical or spiritual feeling. wh u ?
